Our client is looking for GNSS Experts with background and interest in Research and design of new GNSS algorithms for GNSS applications and receiver, SW development & validation for new GNSS functionalities.
The client is an engineering and innovation company that works in different areas, one of them is space, where we participate in flight segment activities, satellite navigation, ground segment, data processing and space mission support among many others.
They are looking for SW engineers who want to participate in the development and maintenance of GNSS performance analysis applications. The chosen candidate would help SW development team that will be involved in all phases of the SW development, including: SW specification/design of new tools, SW implementation, evolutions of pre-existing SW, verification and testing and maintenance.
You will work in a multidisciplinary team in a collaborative environment for the user segment of complex GNSS systems.
MSc or PhD degree in a relevant discipline (Electronics, Software, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or equivalent). Ph.D is preferred.
System oriented mixing Hardware and Software technologies. Autonomous in Presentation and Proficient in Document writing and structuring.
We will also value previous experience, and knowledge in:
• GNSS knowledge.
• Software design and development
• Algorithm development
• Real time operating systems (RTOS) and/or Linux for embedded systems
• System testing and verification experience
• Programming Languages: C, C++, Java.
• Matlab/Octave
• ECSS standards knowledge
• Accreditation of classified systems (DRES, POS, SecOPs), CNN-STIC regulation, risks analysis.
• Fluent in English written and spoken (Spanish would be an advantage, but not essential).
Experience on hands-on approach to GNSS algorithms will be evaluated.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a diverse and international team environment
• Demonstrated ability to analyse and synthetize complex information
• Rigor, commitment and reliability in the execution of the assigned tasks
• Ability to multi-task, identify priority actions and handle a high workload
